Some spend years searching for inner peace ...
Others find it, in about an hour.
Bodhi is a Sanskrit word meaning enlightened or "awakened" and comes from the name of the eminent Indian scholar Bodhidharma, who brought the art of Zen Meditation to China in 520 A.D.
Bodhidharma achieved Enlightenment after sitting in a mountain cave, in front of a rock wall, for nine years, refusing to talk to anyone. After struggling with the tortuous prison of his limited, conditioned, mind-made sense of self, (which was filled with illusory, reactive thoughts of fear and desire and mental noise over future and past) he finally achieved a state of stillness that was beyond thought and form and at peace with the present moment...at ease, with the NOW.
After returning from his years of sitting, with an aching back, he discovered (in about an hour) the healing effects of bodywork and soon realized that a balanced body (bodhi body), also gave him a balanced mind (bodhi mind). He learned that being fully present in his BODY and allowing "what is" to exist, without needing to change anything, also brought him the inner peace and aliveness, that was at the core of his being; his true nature.
Not surprisingly, the Heart opened. Subsequently, his social life improved and his need for sitting in caves in front of rock walls, began to decline.
From those ancient times, have evolved a variety of systems of Body Therapy that are scientifically validated, yet grounded in the holistic approach of encouraging the body`s own inherent wisdom and self healing abilities. Bodhi Body Balancing& Bodhi Body Clearing, done with alert awareness and mindful presence, reveals your natural state. Revealing whole-bodily, what you always already are… whole, full & complete.
The human body, at peace with itself, is more precious then the rarest gem. Cherish your body, it is yours this one time only. The human form is won with great difficulty, it is easy to lose. All worldly things are brief, like lightning in the sky; This life you must know as the tiny splash of a raindrop; A thing of beauty that disappears even as it comes into being. Therefore set your goal, make use of every day and night to achieve it. - Tsong Khapa
