Surrender to the Mystery

“Leave God alone. Let God be. Allow God, the Reality and Power and Being in which the world and all beings arise and change and pass away, so be whatever God is. It is impossible to know what God is or to gain power over what is All-Power. Simply surrender to God. Yield the body-mind into the Radiant Transcendental Being. Then there is only God-Realization, whereas, while you seek God (rather then surrender to God), there is only the experiencing, partial knowing, and mortal reluctance of being trapped in the dilemma of its own limitations. Simply to surrender is to enter into Freedom and Fullness.

Therefore, leave God alone. Allow God to be what God is. Transcend the dilemma of the independent and limited psycho-physical self. What you experience is simply more limits of body-mind. Therefore, do not appeal to God to become known or to appear in any manner whatsoever. Simply surrender the body-mind self into That in which it is arising. Do this always and you will constantly be liberated and saved by Grace“. ~ Bubba Free John

Yield to God

“You must give up to God. That is it. If you do that, you will also be integrating yourself with the forms of learning, association, change, growth, and maturity that I have described. But fundamental to such growth is mere surrender, mere self transcendence, release of all obstruction, all contraction, all holding on, all fear of death, all need for survival, release of everything into the fundamental Condition, whatever it is, since you do not know it. That is the only true practice, and it must be the principle of your life.

You must give yourself up altogether. Do you think you have to find out many things before you will do that? Maybe holding on to that idea prevents the true depth of your surrendering. Consider that no matter what you might find out about all of this, you will never know what it is. Never. The mere existence of anything is an astonishment without a cause. Thus, there is nothing to do, you see, but give up to God. Give up your body-mind, consciousness, life, fear, everything. Give up entirely to God, period. Give up your consciousness. Give up your emotion. Yield to God. That is the practice. That fundamental intuition and act is primary. Everything else is a consideration, on its basis, of how a life is lived in practice, in all its functional aspects, when it is founded in Truth. There is nothing to fulfill here ultimately. In every moment you should give yourself up completely to God.

Because you cannot surrender truly, you think you have to find something out. But there is nothing to find out. There is no answer. There is simply the primal impulse to give yourself up to the unspoken Reality, the Mystery, because you have no choice. You have no independent knowledge. All of your experiences only torment you, ultimately. It may seem that you are obliged to pass through them. Well, give yourself up to God with all your feeling, and then if the world continues to appear, that means that God is continuing to live you as your present body-mind. Obviously! Because you gave yourself up and did not care one way or the other. So, give yourself up to God completely, and if God lets you live and lets everything happen, then that is fine. Do it as a devotee of God. Trust completely in the Transcendental Reality and be free in the midst of all manifestation.

There is ultimately nothing to protect about Man, about you. You must give yourself up. You are finished! (Laughter) You are at the end of your rope in this spiritual matter, in this fundamental sense. All that avails is the leap-of-Enlightenment, Awakening, or literal, perfect surrender into the Transcendental Reality, not knowing what That is, you see. You have no capacity whatsoever to transcend your fundamental Ignorance. You give up everything. It is the unknowability of God into which you surrender, not some idea of any Deity at all. You just give yourself up to Reality of the world, because you cannot figure It out You give yourself up to it. At last, you have to give yourself up to It completely“.

Even faith in God is only a “stage” on the way. Ultimately you abandon all, for you have come to something so simple that here are no words to express it.
